The Healthcare Profession as a Living Tribute to Service
Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember those who gave their lives in the service of our nation and the defense of freedom and democracy. For us living and enjoying the freedom bought with their sacrifice, the best way we can repay them and honor their memory is to celebrate their lives and appreciate the peace and stability they helped secure.
For those working in the healthcare industry, we should use this time to take stock of the importance of our profession for the public good. Whether you’re a provider, administrator, support staff, or physician recruiter, your work is a vital service to the American people—across both the public and private healthcare sectors. By focusing on the impact of our work and committing to the well-being of the American people, we are doing our part in honoring those who lost their lives in the defense of the nation and ensuring that their sacrifice was not made in vain.
Below are some events that we will be attending in our local community of Northwest Florida. We hope that you will join the KI Team in celebrating the lives and sacrifices of our nation’s heroes at commemorations like these in your own community.
